Hi! I'm Barbara, the mum behind SmartyPals
What started as a simple need to keep my kids engaged without screens quickly turned into something much bigger. Like many parents, I wanted play that felt calm, creative, and purposeful—but couldn’t find products that did it all, so I created them myself.
SmartyPals was born from those everyday moments—wanting a hot coffee or a few uninterrupted minutes while my kids played happily and independently. Every product is designed to encourage hands-on play, spark imagination, and support early learning in a natural, engaging way.
At the heart of SmartyPals is a simple mission: to help families bring back more meaningful play and create a better balance with screen time. Because I believe childhood should be filled with creativity, curiosity, and connection - not constant noise and overstimulation.
